Fisher Professional Services has been contracted by Value City Furniture (VCF) to develop a better demand-forecasting model for their business. Specifically, due to the long lead times required between production and final sales, VCF needed a model that would better predict demand 6 months ahead of time. After researching various publicly available national and regional data sets, statistical analysis was performed on the data and a model was developed utilizing the highest correlated metrics. |
