Fisher Professional Services (FPS) has been contracted by Fisher Executive Education (Exec Ed.) Department to assess the market for their Open Enrollment programs. The primary objective of the project is to help Exec Ed. understand the latest trends in the dynamic scope of executive education, to understand the motivations of organizations and their rapidly evolving training needs, and finally to identify gaps in the current offerings in the marketplace that Exec Ed can hope to fill. The first part of the project involves reaching out to a wide sampling of executive education participants and key decision makers via electronic survey collecting information on important attributes, current usage and future expectations for executive education programs. Based on the respondents, additional information will be gathered concerning short and long-term developmental needs for employees and identifying gaps within the Fisher program.  The deliverable will be a set of concrete, actionable recommendations for Fisher Executive Education that will provide a roadmap for creating new offerings to address the needs of their target market.

Friday, 20 March 2009 16:58
Fisher Professional Services (FPS) has been contracted to engage in an economic redevelopment project for the Parsons Avenue area of Columbus, located to the South of Livingston Avenue.  One of the more depressed areas of the city, the Parsons corridor is rich with history and home to several important stakeholders in Columbus.  There are several community organizations with major interest in the project and city officials and area stakeholders alike are tracking progress.  Some of the economic engines keeping the area afloat are Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Rickenbacker business campus, both of which will prove vital to the future reconstruction of the area.  The project started off by conducting a market study to identify local strengths and weaknesses, hosting interviews of interested parties and organizations, and benchmarking against other cities with comparable projects
