Fisher Professional Services has been contracted by Value City Furniture (VCF) to develop a better demand-forecasting model for their business.  Specifically, due to the long lead times required between production and final sales, VCF needed a model that would better predict demand 6 months ahead of time.  After researching various publicly available national and regional data sets, statistical analysis was performed on the data and a model was developed utilizing the highest correlated metrics.
 

Ohio Signature Beef

Fisher Professional Services (FPS) has been contracted by Ohio Signature Beef (OSB), a cooperative of Ohio farmers that sells premium all-natural beef products, with a number of market research initiatives designed to help expand distribution of their products.  This includes benchmarking research on similar cooperatives and other locally branded products, the design of a scorecard that can be used to evaluate potential distribution channels, and the development of a demand-forecasting tool.  We will ultimately be providing OSB with recommendations on how it can grow the brand awareness of its products and where it will best be served to distribute its products.
